Do you follow a certain nutrition standard?
KidsPoint provides nutritious, kid-friendly meals and snacks that follow Iowa DHS guidelines, with options like whole grains, fresh fruits, veggies, and milk every day.
What curriculum does KidsPoint use to support my child’s development?
KidsPoint uses “The Creative Curriculum” for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers to foster social, emotional, physical, language, and cognitive growth through thematic, play-based learning. For school-age children, we implement the 40 Developmental Assets® framework to nurture support, empowerment, social skills, identity, and ongoing learning.
Do you offer summer programs for kids?
Yes, KidsPoint hosts Summer Adventure Day Camps at both our C Street and Downtown locations. Participants enjoy age-appropriate activities like sports, crafts, cooking, dramatic play, games, reading, and team building. We also go on weekly field trips to places like Lost Island Waterpark and more. Hours are 6:30 a.m.-6 p.m., and registration typically opens in April.
