For children ages 5–12 (kindergarten through 5th grade)
Hours: 6:30 a.m.-until school starts and after school-6:00 p.m.
KidsPoint’s School Age Kids program provides a safe, structured, and engaging place for children to learn and play outside the school day. Designed to support busy families, the program offers dependable care during mornings and afternoons—while giving kids room to explore, connect, and grow.
Children build skills and confidence through a balance of guided activities and free play, including craft projects, dramatic play, large motor activities, group games, and homework support. Every day is intentionally designed to foster a love of learning in an environment families can trust.

Extended Care
Support Before School, After School, and Beyond
We know families need care they can count on. That’s why KidsPoint provides before-school care starting at 6:30 a.m. and after-school care until 6:00 p.m. Our teachers help children settle in, connect with friends, and ease into their day. In the afternoons, staff offer support with homework, online learning, and educational activities.
KidsPoint also keeps families covered when schedules change. At no extra cost, we provide care during:
- Early outs
- Late starts
- School closings
- School breaks, including fall, winter, and spring break
When summer comes, you can enroll in our popular Summer Camp programming.

What curriculum guides the School Age Program?
The program uses the Developmental Assets® framework, which focuses on positive experiences and skills that help children grow into caring, responsible, resilient young people.
Does KidsPoint offer care during weather-related school closures?
Yes. On late starts, early dismissals, and weather-related school cancellations, care is offered at KidsPoint C Street. Children must bring a peanut-free sack lunch on these days. If weather makes opening unsafe, the program may close, and families will be notified.
Is care available on teacher in-service days?
Parents must sign up in advance for in-service days. Children attending must bring a peanut-free sack lunch.
Does KidsPoint offer summer programming?
Yes. Summer Day Camp is available for children who have completed kindergarten through fifth grade. Activities include swimming, field trips, guest speakers, arts and crafts, and more.
